The purpose of a focal point is to draw you into the space, making it feel welcoming and inviting you in.

Fireplaces are often placed on the far side of a room, drawing your eyes in. We love how the brick fireplace above gives us a warm welcome into that living room. Fireside hot cocoa, anyone?

Choosing the right piece of art can be a great way to build a feature into any space. You’ll want to select a piece that stands out on its own or consider adding some accessories in the same area.
